just was thinking how handy at times it would be if the

We didn't design VEDIT to allow modeless dialog boxes to "hang around". Sorry. It certainly is a reasonable request, but it would be quite complex to implement.

Even more useful would be to have the C function list visible all the time. It could be a tab in File Selector pane, or e separate pane docked in the right side or bottom of the application window. Better still if this would be configurable.

You would then be able to use mouse to select the C function. Of course, it would be nice to have the mouse working in the macro window, too (e.g. in the function list of cfunc.vdm).

There are other cases where these things would be useful, too. For example, in the search results of the Wildfile Wizard.
