At last, I know enough Windows'NT jargon to ask the correct question !

In Windows'NT, when I type...

<ALT><H>........For Help
<T>..................For "Text Registers"

I see a dialog window which shows me what's in the the text registers.

What setting (in either Vedit, or in Windows'whatever) can I change to
enlarge the font of that dialog box ?

The font and/or size of characters in the dialog boxes cannot be changed in VEDIT.

There is some font setting in NT, but I don't know exactly what effect it has.

1. Right-click a free area on your desktop.
2. Select "properties" from the pop-up menu.
3. On "settings" tab, select the font size from the "Font size" list box (small fonts or large fonts).
4. You will have to boot the computer after that, and you may need to install some new fonts from the Windows NT CD.

This makes absolutely every displayed character larger, including
characters in dialog boxes. I typically run my screen in 1024x768
resolution with a larger 125% font size.
