Hi,

I have been experimenting with external commands and after running
an external command or macro using vpw -q -x|-c Vedit will then be
in a non maximized state on next run.

I have auto-create window style = 1 and have tried turning off
auto-save config but can't understand how to retain the default
maximized state of vpw after using -q.

John:
I too searched for a solution for that problem last year and haven't found one either.

Ted:
It would be nice to have the maximized state saved in VEDIT.INI or so and a command like Maximize_Vedit() to get/set that state in macros. (Perhaps a Win_Zoom(EXTRA)? )

This is now fixed.

This is a reasonable suggestion.

Ted.

OK, I just fixed the code for that.
Trying very hard to have a new 6.12 "beta" ready by tomorrow.

A new VEDIT 6.12 beta-test is now available on our website; assuming no major problems are found, it will be the release version. It can be downloaded from:

http://www..../download/vp64-beta.exe

This version should have this problem solved; I consider the bug-fix too minor to list in the veditlog.txt file.
