The easiest way is to install VEDIT into c:\vedit instead of c:\program files\vedit. The EBCDIC conversion is designed to run from batch files, and if you have a space in your pathname, you must use double-quotes very carefully in the batch files and/or any commands.
Also, we prefer not to discuss EBCDIC conversion related issues in the conference. Please send your questions to support@... for a quick reply.
