Nonetheless, I am not aware of any kind of macro error, not even a "Johnny" , what would crash VEDIT, much less lock up the computer.

Heh heh, well it sure did freeze my windows 2000 up. First time I
think that I've had a situation that wouldn't allow me to get to the
task manager in W2K.

Although it was my mistake, I think this might be a case where a
macro can be a show stopper. There is one other factor that I
corrected also, I was working with a fresh vedit.cfg,
startup/ustartup.vdm and Config(F_E_F_MACRO..) was set as the
default of 0. I turned this on at the same time I had noticed the
spelling error in my Reg_Load() command.

Honest, I am really not -trying- to do these silly things..
