Hello,
I am getting an error:
"In Browse-Mode or File is Read-Only"
while converting an EBCDIC data file to ASCII file.
I have checked the description for this error;
But none of the Files viz. LAY, Batch file getting used
for conversion and the Data file are in Read-Only mode
or not getting used anywhere.
When it prompts to edit the LAY, it shows :
"rcd 264, 265 #1" which is not present in my LAY file
and the field for the statement i.e. the line no. 264, 265
is a suppressed field.
Previously, I had done some changes related to repeating
groups which was containing the statement:
"rcd 264, 265 #1".
But now I am using completely new LAY file for
new conversion.
I have used the same BATCH and DATA files for
many times for the test conversion and have got
the proper results after converison.
Please guide as soon as possible.
