Hello,

I would like to make changes to my file faq.jsp.html.
However, the file comes up in browse mode and so, Vedit does not accept the changes.
Is there any way I can get out of browse mode?

Thanks,

-peter.

Peter:

Most likely your file has the "read only" attribute set.

You can set it to "archive" using the Win Explorer or with a DOS command, e.g. in Vedit's DOS shell:

attrib -r

You should see something like

R__A -> __A_

To change the attributes in Windows Explorer, right-mouse click on the file, pick Properties, and then change the attribute in the dialog box that comes up.
