Hi,

Although it's a bit trendy, I created a web ring for Vedit. It seems
like a reasonable thing to do.

It's done with the ringlink CGI and hosted by a guy named Pete at
Appalachian State University. No ads, marketing stuff etc. I
specifically stayed away from the big hosts.

The CGI is a sourceforge project and is apparently among the best of
its kind - http://www.ringlink.org/

The host I am using is http://www.webring.cc/ where you can find out
more or add your page or site if you wish. The way the thing works, I
have also had to create a home page to sort of serve as a conduit. Hence
sign up and such can also be done at via my little ISP hosted site.

Thank you for your support, but right now I do not have the time to consider such "new" things. You might remind me after version 6.20 is released. Sorry. :-(

I was mostly aiming at other end users, Ted. Given that you have in
place links to Christian and Scott already, if either of them linked
to my page, or joined the web ring then essentially I would have a
link from your site too, via their site.

No biggie. There really isn't that much on the web regarding Vedit
beyond vedit.com and the few user pages which are already made known
on your links page.
