Thanks Christian, for letting me know about Vedit 6.2o beta
o3/10/11.
I have also installed it on my Windows XP machine. My present version of Vedit is 6.15 and it is installed in the c:\Vedit directory. So, I installed the new version into the c:\Vedit_6.2 directory.
Then I got the error message:
Can Not Find The directory: c:\Vedit\config\ustartup.vdm.
Since the Vedit 6.15 does not have a config directory I created one and did put my ustatrup.vdm into this new directory.
This seemed to be a good workaround for this problem.
I wonder whether you or another Vedit guru has a suggestion about fixing this problem ?
Oops, before fixing this problem I would like to have the Command at Cursor menu command have fixed. Certainly in this new version, this command no longer shuts down Vedit.
However, in my installation, nothing happens, either.
Thanks as always,
