Windows XP has resizeable dialog boxes. Many applications support them. However, Vedit still has fixed size dialog boxes.

Could it be possible to implement resizeable dialog boxes in Vedit?
Or would that require to have different versions of Vedit for Windows XP and older Windows versions?

We have not yet examined this possibility. In any case, it only makes sense
to resize some dialog boxes, perhaps only those with a mini-Explorer, such as the File-open dialog box (which we already made quite large).

What dialog boxes were you thinking of?

Ted.

Any file open dialog box, e.g. when loading a macro or syntax file, or when executing Get_Filename() macro command.

I would agree with this. I often think of this as the "keyhole" interface. Windows makes you open files through a tiny window, this hasn't changed since the days when 640*480 was the standard display.

In fact I rarely open files through File Open because of the lousy Windows interface (Vedit is better than most), and use an external File Manager (ZTree).
