Not completely related to this thread, but I plan to add Christian's CLIPTRAK.VDM macro to {MISC, More Macros, Cliptrak}.

Also will add Christian's improved incremental search macro.

There has a been a fair amount of feedback, both here and directly to me, concerning VEDIT 6.12, and I am trying to implement all the minor suggestions, fixes, etc.

Ted.

I have been trying out File_Stamp_String() and found it returned the tile in the wrong format.
I am using Vedit 6.12.1 03/28/04 and Windows XP Pro.

System Short Date Format is set to "d/MM/yyyy", Location to "Australia"

Config(U_DATE_FORM) is set to "0"
Date() displays "04-19-2004" which is wrong.

Changing Config(U_DATE_FORM) to "2"
Date() displays "19-04-2004"

The "local" format is still a bit broken.
They are working on it ...

I'm pretty sure this has been fixed, but isn't on our website yet.
Sorry for the confusion.

Ted.
