I upgraded to win 7. I need 64bit. Do I have to purchase a new version or does vedit have a upgrade. I have a license

Both Vedit and Vedit Pro64 are 32 bit applications, and will work on Win 7 (as well as XP)

There is no need to go to Vedit Pro64 unless you need to edit files larger than 2GB.

Indeed while a 64 bit OS supports more than 4GB RAM, there is very little need for 64 bit applications unless you need to operate on large files (like video editing).
