Is there any way to default the Load/Execute User Macro command to a folder other than vedit\user-mac? I'm using a collection of macros written by someone else, and some call commands necessitate preserving his extremely complex subfolder structure. Having to sift through all those folders to find the macros I'm using, over and over again, is a major time drain...

In the Windows version of VEDIT, you can change the folders by editing the VEDIT.INI file. The changes will take effect the next time you start VEDIT.

You can see the current folder values by going to the COMMAND: prompt,
e.g. with and entering the command:

Config_String

or its abbreviation:

cfs

You can also change the values with this command, but they will only hold until you exit VEDIT.
