I finished a new version of {MISC, More macros, Rename-files}

It has
- several improvements for the dialog
- more checking for valid input
- much more error handling in general

It will be included in the final 6.15.

Up to then it can be downloaded here:

If you find any bugs, please let me know.

Thanks Christian:

Your new version successfully updated my Examples file.

Now my question: have been unable to see the difference between the old and new dialog boxes.

Am I missing something?

Also, I would like to know the new command which requires the forthcoming Vedit 6.15.

Thanks for a wonderful utility.

Optically there are only minimal changes. Mostly I added hotkeys.

The main changes are under the hood.
Especially there is much more error handling which is able to
highlight the input box with the erroneous data.

I think it runs with older versions too, but since DI1() changed a bit
internally there may be minor problems.
This version of the macro will be included in 6.15 and so it is.
